Dental Bonding

Adhesive dental materials

Dental Bonding  or sometimes referred to as just Bonding, is a conservative, in office method to alter, enhance, re-shape, or re-shade a tooth. Composite resin is the material used for this procedure and these materials have improved throughout the years. These materials are durable and provide an excellent finish that appears like your tooth’s enamel. The benefits are many but they are not indicated in all situations. One such benefit is the conservative nature in which these materials can be applied. Another benefit is the artistic control the dentist has while working with shapes and shades. These photos demonstrate an ideal, conservative use for fixing a chipped tooth. If you have an old filling or bonding on a front tooth, or are looking for a conservative smile makeover, ask us how these materials may work for you.
