I have been a patient of Dr. Olson's for more than 25 years. I have never met a more gentle or caring dentist with a staff to match. Your comfort and ease are very important to him. He and his staff will go out of their way to make sure that you understand your treatment options. Over the years, I have gladly referred many new patients to Dr. Olson. All in all, you won't find a better dental practice in the DC Metro area than Bradley Olson, DDS. Try him, you won't be disappointed.

Do You Have Any General Dentistry Questions?
Our experienced dentist provide you with the answers that matter most.
-
Q: I have been hearing that your oral and overall health are connected. Is that true?
Answer: Absolutely! Studies have indicated infectious oral diseases (gum disease) can lead to serious health risks such as heart disease, diabetes, pregnancy complications, and much more. What can you do? Visit us every six months and we’ll educate you on how to take care of your teeth and get your smile healthy.
-
Q: How do I know if I have a cavity?
Answer: Are you experiencing any tooth pain? Or, does your tooth get sensitive from hot or cold foods/drinks? Those are signs of a big cavity and the best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with us as soon as possible. Small cavities usually do not have any symptoms, and the only way of knowing you have one is visiting a dentist regularly.
-
Q: What are sealants?
Answer: Sealants are an excellent option for kids and adults to seal out bacteria. They’re thin layers of plastic, which can be applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth. They create an impenetrable barrier for bacteria, keeping your teeth strong and healthy.
-
Q: How do I know if I have sleep apnea?
Answer: Are you experiencing the following symptoms?
- Chronic fatigue
- Dry mouth from waking
- Observed snoring
- Observed breathing cessation
- Decreased acuity
If so, Dr. Olson can evaluate you or refer to you a sleep specialist to determine the diagnosis. We can provide an oral appliance therapy (much better than a CPAP machine) to help you sleep beautifully again.
